Maddison Sehring of Sweaty Palms Tattoo is a licensed tattoo artist located in Portland, Maine.
Her preferred medium was always pen & ink. So, the tattoo pen was a natural progression. Saturated colors and abstract shapes always find their way into her artwork. Post-mentorship, these traits will eventually transfer to her tattoos.
Maddy’s educational foundation is in both painting and ceramics. In 2018, she received her Associate’s Degree in Fine Arts from Westmoreland County Community College (PA), and later continued her art education at the Maine College of Art (MECA) in Portland.
Since the Winter of 2021, Maddy has worked under the wise and gracious Mentorship of Sam at Wild Child Tattoo, Portland.
Beyond the human canvas, her illustrations can be seen in activity books for children’s programming at the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, and they have helped raise funds for the Autism Connection of PA. You may stumble on her public murals at The Thirsty Pig in Portland, ME, and in private homes from Pittsburgh to Portland.
Maddy is exceptionally skilled at putting people at ease and making them laugh. That same contagious, whimsical energy oozes throughout her artwork.
